Teletherapy makes professional counseling services accessible, affordable, and convenient. Considering current health risks posed by COVID 19, it also keeps you safe! Additionally, recent studies in Medical News Today (April, 2020) show that sessions conducted via video are equally as effective as in person meetings.
Our meetings together will be held either by phone or video, whichever you prefer, from the privacy and convenience of your own location. When we first meet, we will talk about initial concerns that bring you to therapy, and then we will collaboratively explore changes and goals you wish to set. Before long, you will begin to realize strengths and personal resources that were previously unavailable to you. Healthy aspects of your personality can grow stronger and more vital as you discover ways of living with more skill and grace.
Examples of concerns covered in therapy: recovery from depression, coping with anxiety, reducing shame and self-doubt, minimizing addictive behaviors, resolving past trauma, adjusting from loss and grief, leaning into conflict resolution, and many more.
